While there are not a lot of street projects planned for this year in Wood River, the three major ones are on fairly long stretches of road according to a city official.  Public Services Director Steve Palen says they will use as much asphalt this year as they do any other year as a result of the length of the roads being resurfaced.

And then, he tells The Big Z, are the repairs to potholes and sinkholes.

Palen says the planned street upgrades are: Beach Avenue from Whitelaw to Sixth Street; Hamilton Street from Eaton to Eula; and Jennings Avenue from Whitelaw to Sixth Street.
