This year's Wood River Bike Ramble is scheduled for this Friday, June 20, and event organizers are anticipating a large turnout again this year.  Line up for the event as at 7pm, with the ride beginning at 7:30 from the Round House.  Park & Recreation Director Jason Woody says it’s not a race, but rather a family-themed event that should draw a couple hundred people.

This is the 6th year for the event.  The course is about 4 miles long, and after the ride, the Aquatic Center will be open for participants to enjoy a pool party.  Woody says you must participate in the Bike Ramble in order to take part in the pool party afterwards.  The first 175 riders will receive a t-shirt and a bike reflector.  The cost to participate is $3 per person or $6 per family.  In case of rain, the event will be held Saturday night.
