The annual ride through the streets of Wood River is coming up Friday night, June 15. For the fifth time, bicyclists will get together at 7pm at the Roundhouse for the 7:30 start of the Wood River Bike Ramble. Park & Recreation Director Jason Woody says this has become a very popular event.
He says in the past, there has been a movie in the park. This year, they are trying something different.
The cost to participate is $3 per person or $6 per family, and the first 175 riders get a free t-shirt and bike reflector. Woody says the event drew about 200 participants last year, and he expects about the same this time as well. You can register in advance at the Round House or City Hall.
