A Wood River woman who was critically injured as a passenger in a motorcycle accident near The Clark Bridge in Alton in September has died.   63 year old Lora Wright passed away over the weekend at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.  Her husband, Gary Wright, was driving the motorcycle and he died at the scene of the crash.

The Madison County Coroner's Office reports Lora Wright died Saturday just before 5pm in the intensive care unit at Anderson where she had been for rehabilitation from injuries she sustained in the crash.  25-year-old Jeffrey A. Rynders of the 3200 block of Myrle Street in Alton was the alleged driver of the car that struck the motorcycle and he has been charged with one count of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, a single count of Aggravated DUI, and two counts of Aggravated DUI Causing Death.  Alton Police say Rynders tried to run away from the accident, but was captured on the parking lot of Riverbend Billiards by a customer and handed over to police.
