June is off to a wet start in Illinois.  State Climatologist Jim Angel says the month is just past halfway over, and much of the state has already received a good soaking.

The latest U.S. Drought Monitor shows all of Illinois has recovered from last year’s extremely dry summer, with only a very small portion of Northwestern Illinois labeled as “abnormally dry.”
