Last month was the third wettest November on record in Illinois.  Total statewide precipitation for November was 5.6 inches, which is more than two inches above normal.

State Climatologist Jim Angel says a lot of that was rain, but also some of the white stuff the weekend before Thanksgiving.

The statewide average temperature for November came in at 46 degrees.  That's 3 1/2 degrees above normal.  Forecasters are predicting a warmer than average December as well.
