After a wet July, it looks like August might bring more of the same for Illinois.  State Climatologist Jim Angel says forecasters are calling for increased chances of rain this month.

Temperatures are expected to be about normal for the northern half of the state and above average in the south.  Angel says it's rare for Illinois to have both wetter and warmer than normal conditions during the summer.
