As the Illinois and Mississippi Rivers remain out of their banks, and a slight rise in river levels is expected, the Illinois Department of Transportation is again closing some roads. Route 100 through Grafton between Route 3 and Ski Lift Road is closed, but there is signage to get you around the rising water.

In addition, Route 100 from Illinois 16 in Hardin to U.S. 36 in Detroit remains closed, as well as the Brussels Ferry. The Illinois Department of Transportation is reminding additional travel times should be expected throughout the region, and asks for patience.
