A local director is on the lookout for photos of the Riverbend from the 1950s to use as part of a photo montage for an upcoming show. Sue Mueller is putting together a presentation of Smoky Joe’s Café’, which boasts a soundtrack of nearly 40 classics from the early era of rock n’ roll. She says the photos would be used to help set the mood.

She says the show doesn’t contain any dialogue – the story is told through song. Auditions are coming up on Saturday, March 29 at the Gordon Cragg Studio of Dance on East Broadway at 3:30pm. For more information on auditions, or to donate a photo, call 618-581-6220.
