It looks like video gaming in Illinois is already a success.  The state's Gaming Board says video gambling brought in nearly 350-thousand dollars in October, the month most of the state's video machines went live for the first time.  The state actually saw 18-million dollars in wagers at the nearly 700 machines around the state.

Of the 350-thousand dollars local governments will receive a take of about 70-thousand.
