The annual Jersey County Victorian Festival is coming up this weekend.  It is billed as a living history event that promotes the educational, historical and cultural aspects of our agricultural history and furthers the education and understanding of the Civil War through re-enactments and encampments.  It is held each year at the Fulkerson Mansion, just north of Jerseyville.

The living history festival will feature Civil War and agricultural history, according to Alton Regional Convention & Visitor's Bureau President Brett Stawar.
