Donahue presented diplomaA veteran was honored with a diploma 51 years after he left school before he could graduate to serve in the Vietnam War and an audit report was presented and approved at the Bethalto School Board meeting last night.  James W. Donahue was presented a diploma by the board. He served three years in the army.

Superintendent Charles Stegal says there is school code with a clause for circumstances such as Donahues.

The board will meet two weeks earlier than normal on the 14th of December due to the holidays.
