You could learn personal finance the Wells Fargo way, thanks to a partnership with the United Way of Greater St. Louis.  Several community grants have been awarded with more to come as part of the effort to get the bank's Hands on Banking ® curriculum into as many hands as possible.

The United Way's Mary Anne Helmsing tells The Big Z a total of $250,000 in grants will be available throughout the length of the program.

A stipulation of receiving the grant requires the organizations to  adopt the Wells Fargo Hands on Banking ® curriculum.  According to information provided by United Way, that curriculum provides basic management money tools, skills and information on building a budget, building credit wisely, avoiding debt, and paying for higher education.
