The Southwest Illinois Division of United Way of Greater St. Louis surpassed its goal by just under $200,000. Earlier this year they set a goal of just over $1.6 million for their 2015 fundraising campaign. They celebrated at Argosy Casino in Alton where 2015 Campaign Chair Adam Koishor annouced the campaign results.

The amount raised was 1,809,328 with the goal of 1,642,612. More than 2,400 companies and 140,000 individuals contributed in the 16 county region to United Way's campaign. She says these numbers represent a huge investment in this community.
