Ugandan Thunder, a choir comprised of grade school and high school aged children from Uganda, is in the midst of a six month, thirteen city tour which includes a number of concerts in the Riverbend. The first of those performances will take place tonight at 7 p.m. at The Bridge Church on 12th Street in Alton. The concert includes singing, dancing and the playing of some musical instruments according to group founder and director Ted Moody. He says the tour is self-funded.

The group will perform three more times this week in the Riverbend. They will sing Wednesday morning at the Evangelical Church of Christ on Homer Adams Parkway, Thursday night at Alton High School and Friday evening at the United Presbyterian Church of Wood River.
