The University of Illinois Extension is celebrating a milestone anniversary this month. It's been 100-years since the Smith-Lever Act was signed, establishing the Cooperative Extension Service to share land-grant university research with communities and provide practical information to farmers and housemakers. A series of events are planned this month to commemorate the anniversary according to Master Gardener Donna Bardon.
