Charges have been brought against two students at SIU-Edwardsville after they allegedly kidnapped and robbed a fellow student last week. The victim told police he'd been forced into a car at gunpoint where three people blindfolded him and drove him to an ATM. He was ordered to withdraw all the money from his account.
University spokesman Doug McIlhagga says investigators still believe the suspects knew the victim and the crime wasn't random, although they won’t go into further detail while the investigation unfolds.

Rogers is 20-years-old; Watson is 18. McIlhagga says an incident like this is a rarity on campus, and SIUE should still be considered a safe place. A third suspect is still being sought. If you have any additional information about this incident call campus police at 650-3324.
