A trial date is set for the former St. Clair County judge allegedly involved in the courthouse drug scandal.  Michael Cook has pleaded not guilty to being an unlawful user of a controlled substance in possession of a firearm, and possession of heroin.  He was arrested as part of a drug scandal that rocked the St. Clair County courthouse earlier this year.

Probation officer James Fogarty reportedly said he sold cocaine to Cook and an associate judge, who later died of an overdose.  Cook's trial is set to begin December 9.
