It looks like every vote will have to be counted in the race for Illinois Treasurer.  Republican Tom Cross has a slim lead over Democrat Michael Frerichs with 99-percent of precincts reporting.  Election officials in each county will have to count provisional and mail-in ballots before a winner can be declared.

Once all the votes are counted, the numbers will be sent to the state board of elections and certified.  A winner will be announced on November 30.
