No one was injured and there was little property damage when a small tornado touched down in Montgomery County last evening.  The twister was first spotted on the ground near Interstate 55 near the town of Raymond, moving to the northeast.  The tornado touched down in a farm field.

The tornado touched down again several minutes later near Morrisonville in Christian County.   Another funnel cloud was also spotted near the town of Witt around the same time, but did not touch down.   Heavy rain also pounded the area before the storms moved off to the north.
