The director of the Illinois State Board of Elections says it appears supporters of a term-limits referendum have gathered enough signatures to get the question on the ballot in November.  GOP candidate for Governor Bruce Rauner is backing the drive to limit lawmakers to eight years in office, and to change the size of the legislature to increase the power of the governor. 

Robert Borgsmiller says the measure appears to have gathered the 300-thousand signatures needed to make the ballot, but the driver still faces a lawsuit in Cook County.
