An Alton teenager is being recognized as the "Youth of the Year" by the Boys and Girls Club of Alton. Garret Parker, Junior received the honor, just as he did in 2012. Parker went on last year to be recognized at the state level as well, by the Illinois Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs'. He did not, however participate at state this year.
