You can try and sell your crafts, antiques, specialty items, or most any other items as the Alton Park & Recreation Department’s Tailgate Sale returns to downtown.  It will be held at the parking lot at the corner of Henry Street and Landmarks Boulevard, sharing space with the Alton Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market.

Haynes says unpackaged foods, firearms and vehicles are among the items you cannot sell.  The sale runs from 7am-noon on June 11.  Advance registration is required to be a vendor, and it’s $10 per parking spot.  For more information, call 463-3580, or follow the link:
