A 37-year-old Florissant man on parole for a 2nd degree murder conviction is one of two suspects caught following a robbery in the central part of the state that are believed to be responsible for the recent heist at the Laclede Community Credit Union in North Alton. Police say Altonio Graves of the 6600 of Blossom Wood in Florissant, Missouri and his alleged accomplice, 26-year-old Annalise S. McGhee of the 9800 block of Ventura Drive in St. Louis, robbed the credit union a month ago, as well as a bank in Altamont last Tuesday.
It was after the stick-up in Altamont that police caught up with the pair, when the driver lost control of the car. What led police to put this robbery and the one in Alton together were certain unique actions by the suspect, although the nature of those actions is not being shared at this time. Law enforcement is looking into other bank robberies to see if there is any connection to Graves (pictured top) and McGhee (bottom photo). They could still face federal charges, but for now, are charged with Aggravated Robbery and Robbery (Financial Institution) in the Alton case and similar charges in the one from Altamont. They are being held in the Effingham County Jail.
