The death of a senior at Blackburn College in January has been ruled a homicide by the Macoupin County Coroner's Office. 24-year-old Josh Ramza from Romeoville was discovered the afternoon of January 19 in his dorm room after other students reported not seeing him around. An autopsy did not identify an immediate cause of death, but toxicology results indicate he died of opium intoxication.
Macoupin County Coroner Brad Targhetta says a homicide designation is different than one that would come from the local police.
