A metal statue stolen from an area non-profit is still missing, and the management is hoping to get it back. The Nature Institute reported a statue of an angel child was taken in early May. The statue likely has more sentimental value than monetary value, according to TNI's Patti Brown, as it was donated by the estate of a deceased supporter.
The statue is described as an angel child made of metal and standing about 3 feet tall. It typically rests on a concrete pedestal, but the pedestal was not removed. Brown asks that whoever has it to bring it back, no questions asked. If you have any information on the location of the statue, you are asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 692-4433, or the Anonymous Tip Line at 296-3000.
