The process of identifying a body found in Alton last summer continues, with a number of experts at various agencies puting their skills to the test.  The remains were found inside a car on Powhatten Street on August 5.  According to Alton Police, it appears some of the neighbors had known it was there for some time, but never contacted authorities.
