It doesn’t look like concealed-carry will be ready for a vote in the Illinois House anytime soon. However, State Rep. Brandon Phelps (D-Harrisburg) says there is not much time left to make a decision. “(There’s) still going to be negotiation and we know that. The good thing about it the law-abiding gun owners, we’re in the game. And we have to get something passed or as some gun advocates say, we win again because we got a court ruling,” Phelps said.
