Illinois State Trooper Kyle Deatherage (pictured) was remembered in the Illinois House Thursday.  Deatherage was a motorcycle trooper with District 18 in Litchfield, and served with the Madison County Sheriff's Department before joining the Illinois State Police in 2009.   Representative Jim Sacia says Deatherage was a brave trooper who served with honor.

A semi hit Deatherage while he was conducting a traffic stop on I-55 near Litchfield last November.  The House held a moment of silence for Deatherage.  His wife and other family members were there to witness the moment.
