The Illinois State Museum in Springfield will reopen to the public next month. The museum has been closed since last fall amid the ongoing budget stalemate, but will open its doors once again starting Saturday, July 2nd. 

State Department of Natural Resources spokesman Tim Schweizer says visitors will help fund the facility.
