The Lewis and Clark Confluence Tower in Hartford is hosting an event Saturday that will take visitors up in the tower to see the stars from 150 feet in the air. The cost to go up in the tower is $5. Expert amateur Steve Sands will be providing information about the nighttime sky.
He says the event runs from 7pm to midnight.

Sands will offer tips and guide guests to the best possible viewing positions. He says the best way to stargaze includes having a large field of view, which is possible at the top of the tower.
