One Irishman is tipping his hat to America on St. Patrick's Day.  Irish Whiskey expert Tim Herlihy says not many people know that blue, not green, was the first color associated with St. Patty's Day.  He says that's because crowds in New York City wore blue to show their support for the many Irish-American police officers who took part in the early parades.

While March 17th is not an official holiday in the U.S., it's widely celebrated with parades, parties and the wearing of the green across the country.
