The St. Clair County Board has agreed to sell more than three-million-dollars in bonds to help two companies operating at the struggling MidAmerica St. Louis airport.  Most of the money raised will be used to finance the expansion of the refrigerated warehouse of North Bay Produce in exchange for an eight-year extension of the company's 15-year lease.

The bond proceeds will also be used to finance an expansion of Boeing's assembly plant at MidAmerica.  The expansions will mean the addition of a combined sixty jobs at the two facilities.
