Today is Spring Transfer Day at Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey.  There will be more than 40 college and military representatives on campus looking to recruit students who are at the end of a two-year stint at the college, and ready to pursue their education further.

Among the colleges represented are the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College, all University of Illinois campuses, SIU Edwardsville and Carbondale, SLU, ISU, and Murray State.  From 11am-1pm, representatives from those colleges and many more will talk to Lewis & Clark Students.  For students who will be graduating in the coming months, enrollment experts say this is a critical time to think about their next step.  And for first-year students, it is a good opportunity to see what is out there.  There will be free soda, chips and pizza for those in attendance today.
