You will be setting your clocks ahead before you go to bed tonight. The time change will add an additional hour of daylight to the evening hours. It is the start of Daylight Saving Time.
Wood River Fire Chief Steve Alexander says it's also a good time to change the batteries in smoke detectors in homes, churches, and businesses and check the batteries in your carbon monoxide detectors too.
