The plans to bring a multi-use sports complex to Alton High School continue to come together. The Alton School Board approved a bid this week to proceed with work to clear the land behind the school, as well as earth moving, the installation of sewers, and a box culvert. Moninger Excavating of Bethalto submitted the winning bid.
Director of Finance Chris Norman says they are looking at the fall of 2015 to have kids on the new fields.
