South Roxana Police Officer Lee Brousseau was awarded a Community Officer Award at the Madison County Chiefs meeting Wednesday. officer Brousseau was recognized for the community impact award for his deep hearted love for the community. Officer Brousseau is the most productive officer in South Roxana but still finds time to play football with kids, take a family out to dinner after their mother broke her leg on his shift, even to buy a bicycle, out of his own pocket, for a child after the child made the honor roll.
