A roundtable to air out small business concerns quickly became a discussion of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.   U. S. Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Taylorville) appeared at the event, hosted by the National Federation of Independent Business at a third-generation Springfield sign company.  One participant honed in on the idea that Congress should repeal Obamacare, which the Republican-controlled House has voted dozens of times to do.

“Congressman Davis made the point: are we supposed to sit around, just because the Senate doesn't agree, or the President doesn't agree?” asked Kim Maisch, NFIB state director.  “I think that's just Republicans in the House flexing their muscles, showing, don't forget about us, Democrat Senate, Democrat President; we've got power, too.”
