Sleigh bells jingling, jack frost nipping, and two and a half million twinkle lights will all be ready in less than a week at Alton's Rock Spring Park. Starting next Friday, you can drive thru the Christmas Wonderland at the park to see the light displays as well as take the kids to visit Santa, and there's even a petting zoo.
This year the display at Rock Springs Park will be as big as ever, according to Bob Osburn, head of the Grandpa Gang.
The annual walk-thru night will be held on Monday, November 28th, for just a dollar admission per person. No vehicles will be allowed that night. The Christmas Wonderland display hours are 6-9 p.m. on weekdays, and 5-9 p.m. on the weekends. The cost to see the display is still $7 for cars and small vans, and $1 per person for vehicles with 10 or more passengers.
