It’s severe weather season, and there are many ways to stay alert. Madison County offers a free severe weather notification system called Code Red, which is available to any county resident or business, but you have to sign up first.
Deputy Director of Madison County Emergency Management Mary Kate Malone says in case of a non-weather emergency the county can call anyone in the county on a land line:
