The kids are in school, the leaves are turning, and the farmers’ markets are still open. From the Illinois Stewardship Alliance, Lindsay Record says those three facts do not always go together; that people tend to forget about the farmers’ markets once summer’s over. That's why the alliance has come up with “Shoptober.”
