A local congressman believes the problems with the Affordable Care Act go back to the problems with liberalism, and the belief that the national government can solve all the nations' problems.  Republican U.S. Congressman John Shimkus of Collinsville says the act does not offer the choices promised by President Obama, and believes people will be disappointed as they research their options.

Shimkus says there are some ideas in the bill that are good, but the fact that there will be less choice is bad for America:
