A Jerseyville man is charged with Distribution of Child Pornography after allegedly committing the offense in mid October.  According to the charges, 36-year-old Phillip S. Grigalanz was involved in distributing a picture of what is believed to be an 8-year-old girl posed in a sexually suggestive manner.

He is being held on $250,000 bond.  Distribution of Child Pornography is a Class X felony, punishable by 6-30 years in prison, and a maximum fine of $100,000.  In another Jersey County sex case, Matthew E. Brown of Brighton pleaded guilty to Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault and was sentenced to 30-years in prison on Monday.  Brown pleaded to abusing a child from 2009 until February of this year.  The child was 6 years old at the time the abuse began.
