The National Weather Service wants you to be aware of the potential for severe weather on Wednesday.  A storm system is expected to come together that will have the potential to produce straight line wind damage and tornadoes, according to the agency's forecast models.

Many forecasters have been talking about the potential for severe weather on Wednesday for several days.  NWS Meteorologist Wes Browning tells The Big Z the more advance warning they can give, the more prepared you can be.

Browning reminds there are a number of different ways to receive weather warnings, including through a weather radio, notifications on your smart phone, and local radio station.
