A week after being reported missing, police are still looking for an Alton woman who left her home on College Avenue on Saturday, November 23. Courtney C. Coats was last seen around noon leaving her home on foot, wearing an orange, white and black Harley-Davidson leather jacket, blue jeans, and carrying a green duffel bag.
Alton Police Department Public Information Officer Emily Hejna says they need the public's help to find the Jerseyville native.
If you have any information on where she may be, call 463-3505. In other missing persons cases, it's been more than two years since Jared Hanna of Jerseyville was last seen, and police still have no new credible leads as to what may have happened to him. Hanna is thought to have been in Alton on July 3 of 2011, but his truck was found in Clinton County. If you have any information on his whereabouts, contact the Clinton County Sheriff's Department at 618-594-4555.
82-year-old R.V. Mandrell is still missing, more than two months after he was last seen by family members. He lives by himself at his home in the 1700 block of New Jamestown Road in Spanish Lake in north St. Louis County, but is formerly from Alton, so there was speculation he may have been heading to Illinois.
