A bill has been passed to stamp out synthetic drug manufacturing, sales, and use. Senate Bill 1129 was signed into law August 14th. The bill was sponsored by State Senator Kyle McCarter and was passed without any opposition. Senator McCarter says that the bill was aimed at stopping a number of drugs from being made and sold.

McCarter also says that in signing this bill the Governor has ensured that many kids will be saved from doing drugs like synthetic marijuana, bath salts, and flakka and as a result is saving lives.
