Grass Roots Grocery hopes to open this year and later this month with host a Seed Swap for area farmers.  Alton Main Street is co-hosting the event that is open to the public, even if you don’t have seeds to share.  They will also have a potluck, and information about becoming a member.

The Seed Swap and Potluck open house will be held on Sunday February 15th from 1-4pm at 415 Ridge Street in Alton, the future home of Grassroots Grocery.  McGibany says as part of the event, they’ll be giving away a Farmer’s Market booth space for a year.  For more information go to:
