Authorities have identified the second man who is believed to have drowned in Carlyle Lake last weekend.  The body of 35 year old Corey Gruenefelder of Highland was pulled from the water Tuesday morning.  His friend, 31 year old Michael Septeowski of Troy, was found early Monday at the lake after both men apparently jumped into the water late Saturday night, began to struggle, and disappeared.

Authorities say neither victim was wearing a life jacket.  The Illinois Conservation Police, the Army Corps of Engineers and local rescue groups took part in the search effort the last several days.  A third man with the group was not injured after he stayed in the boat when the first man jumped into the water and then the second man jumped in to help him.   Funeral arrangements for the men are pending.
