A Scott Air Force base pilot is dead after his plane went down in Afghanistan.  Captain Brandon Cyr and three other crew members were on the plane Saturday when it crashed about 110 miles outside of Kandahar.  Pentagon officials say so far there's no indication that the plane was taken out by enemy combatants.

Cyr was an instructor pilot who had earned more than 900-flying hours in combat.  His funeral arrangements will be released later this week.
