Thirteen people are being cut from the Jersey Community Unit School District 100 payroll. The school board made that decision this week, as belt-tightening continues in districts throughout Illinois. Options such as closing schools or moving boundaries around to alter bus routes were not discussed

The options include moving transportation boundaries around, bringing some kids into Jerseyville, and sending some to Grafton as well. The next meeting is scheduled for April 16.
